Equity crowdfunding in real estate (group investing)

Can't afford a whole tenement house? Buy a piece of it. Crowdfunding allows a group of smaller investors to chip in for one large developer or commercial project. You earn proportionally to your contribution. This lowers the entry barrier to large deals, but you hand over control of the implementation to a management company. The advantage, however, is completely bypassing traditional financial intermediaries and bank loans – you operate in a direct, democratized investment ecosystem.
